Thursday September 5 – Away Volleyball against Momence, JV 5, Varsity 6, Bus Time: 3:15
Congratulations to Miguel Amador for placing 1st in the Cross Country meet yesterday.
Volleyball Results from last night: Both teams played a tough game vs Ridgeview last night. JV lost in 2 - the scores were 19-25 and 25-27. Varsity lost in 3 - the scores were 25-20, 24-26, and 19-25.
Study table is taking place after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays until 5:15. There is an activity bus that can take you back to the other 3 towns. This is a great time to get help on homework or work on credit recovery in PLATO. Mrs. Highland or Miss Bonnell (classroom is at the end of the blue hallway) will run the study table.
College fairs are a quick and easy way to talk with college representatives. The 2024 College Fair at Parkland College is Monday, September 9, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Donald Dodds, Jr Athletic Complex. Register at StriveScan.com. (8/27-9/6)
FFA members wanting to be on this year's Horse Judging team: The first meeting/practice will be Wednesday during AP in the Charger Room. If you can't make it, see Ms. Baker.
Thursday after school will be chorus club starting next week. You can ride the bus after school to Piper. You should be done by 4:15/4:30. If you need to stay after school in Piper to wait for the activity bus, let Mrs Buckley know today.
Occasionally college representatives will visit TPHS. Invitations are sent out on the Google Calendar and students are highly encouraged to sign up to talk with college representatives. See Mr. Emerson or Ms. Fisher with questions. (9/3-9/9)
