The high school girls basketball team put up a tremendous fight in the regional title game last night against a strong GCMS team. Our girls battled back to cut the deficit to just eight points in the fourth quarter before ultimately falling 39-54.
Though the season ended sooner than we hoped, the TP community could not be prouder of this team and their coaches. Finishing as RVC Champions with an impressive 23-6 overall record, these girls gave it their all and left everything on the court.
Congratulations on an incredible season—we are so proud of you!
The bus that brings the high school kids to Cullom from Piper City will leave at 7:25 am in the morning starting on Monday 2/24.

The Piper City bus will leave the junior high at 7:50 am tomorrow morning (1/30/25) to bring the high schoolers to Cullom.
Schedule Change for tonight's girls basketball game (1/29/25) at Woodland HS against Flanagan/Woodland. JV will now play first at 5:30 pm. Varsity will play at 6:30 pm.
The girls varsity basketball game against Momence will not be rescheduled.
The high school girls basketball game tonight (Monday 1/27) at Grace Christian will be JV and Varsity. JV will start at 5:30 pm followed by Varsity.
Location update for girls high school basketball: The game against Flanagan-Woodland on Wednesday, January 29th will be played at Woodland High School (5800 E 3000 N Rd Streator).

The scholastic bowl match at GSW is canceled today (1/22/25) and will be rescheduled.
Congratulations to Mr. Patterson and his Shakespeare SLAM team (Sammy Oustz, Kayleigh Pellet, Owen Griner, Calla Fuoss). They received the "Be Heard" award. The award was based on the impact the team made during their workshop in Chicago; we were recognized by several schools for our creativity, leadership, and kindness to the other participants.

Spaghetti supper tonight at the high school 4-6:30 pm. Plenty of food for walk ins and carry outs are available. Cheer camp drop off is 6:15 pm tonight. The cheer camp peformances will be approximately 6:40 pm before the varsity game.
LACC will not attend classes today (January 15th) in Pontiac.
