We are told the company is RUSH sending us a delivery, that will be available for students to take home on Wednesday or Thursday ! Please continue to sell …sell...sell . Students will still be able to bring in their money for completed boxes and be given new boxes ASAP when delivered! We are told they were a little delayed due to the holiday weekend .

Victory last night for the Junior High Scholastic Bowl Team! They scored 155 to GCMS's 95 points. Alex Angus answered 5 toss up questions correct for 50 points. Owen Griner brought in 30 points, and Brynner Dietz contributed 10 points. The team together earned 65 bonus points! Way to go Chargers!! Our record currently is 6-4.
Congratulations to the four members of the junior high band and chorus who represented Tri-Point at today's Iroquois County Solo and Ensemble Contest. All four performances received a division I rating. Those participating were Ashley Estrada, vocal solo; Ashley Estrada and Rachel Darda, vocal duet; Owen Griner, clarinet solo; and Kara Stuckey and Rachel Darda, flute duet. Way to go! Hard work pays off.

There will be NO practice tonight due to the possibility of bad weather.
Also, the Giant Invite meet scheduled for tomorrow, April 1st, has been postponed. There will be NO meet tomorrow. The meet has been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 5th at 4:00pm. It will be at the same location, but will run differently than our normal meets.

The junior high scholastic bowl team played two out of conference teams in Champaign tonight. We had a good run but lost to Franklin Academy and almost tied on the last question with Jefferson Middle School, which would have put us into overtime! Alex brought in 110 points, Brynner 30 points, Owen 20 points, and Max 10 points. The team as a whole brought in 135 bonus points. Way to stick with it Chargers!! Keep studying and excercizing those brains!

Due to the chance of inclement weather, the 7th grade field trip scheduled for tomorrow, March 31st has been cancelled. The new date for the trip has been set for April 24th.

The Junior High Scholastic Bowl Team encountered their 2nd loss this season in a match against PBL, 120 to 205. Their record stands at 5 - 2. Alex contributed 40 points, Owen had 10 points, Ali had 10 points, and the team contributed 60 bonus points. Now we head onto a triad conference Thursday in Champaign with Franklin Academy and Jefferson Middle School.
Today kicks off the UE/JH Candy Bar Fundraiser!!!!!
REMINDERS:
-Students can turn in a permission slip to sell candy today.
-Each box is worth $60.
-After students sell one box....they are able to get another.
-Attached are the prizes students can earn.
-If a student does take a box ....the full price of the box will have to be paid to the school .
This fundraiser has been a huge success for students in the past and we hope we have a great year. The money raised during this fundraiser goes back to students throughout the school year for fun days and student needs.
